SRINAGAR: Political activist Dawood Lodhi from Beerwah, district Budgam, joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
A party spokesman said that the new entrant was welcomed by Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir and District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh.
Speaking on the occasion, Lodhi stated that the performance of Party leadership convinced him to join this Party and pledged to devote himself to the welfare of people on gross roots level, said the spokesman.
Addressing at the occasion, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Senior Vice President of the Party said with his joining the Party cadre will get strengthened in the area. He said that Lodhi’s joining will inspire other youth political activists to repose trust and confidence in Apni Party, said the spokesman.
