Kupwara:Two bear cubs were spotted inside a water storage tank by local residents here in Sogam Lolab area of the district on Saturday morning.
Reports reaching GNS said that two bear cubs were found trapped inside a water storage tank in Kumar Mohalla residential area of Sogam.
The locals, as per reports, believe that the trapped cubs may have been part of a sloth, however no other member (bear) has been spotted around so far.
Meanwhile the Wildlife Protection Department has been intimated by the locals even as the rescue operations have been already set in to retrieve the trapped cubs. (GNS)
