398 fresh cases take Covid-19 tally to 84031 in J&K

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported 398 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) – 159 from Jammu division and 239 from Kashmir division and 11 infection related deaths –  05 from Jammu division and 06 from Kashmir Division, officials said here today.

Officials said that out of 84031 positive cases, 9992  are active positive, 72706 have recovered and 1333 have died; 434 in Jammu division and 899 in Kashmir division.

The officials further said that out of 1854486 test results available, 1770455 samples have been   tested as negative till October 12, 2020.

Providing district-wise breakup, the officials said that Srinagar has 16756 positive cases (including 106 cases reported today) with 1689 Active Positive, 14748 recovered (including 110 cases recovered today), 319 deaths; Baramulla has 4910 positive cases (including 21 cases reported today) with 1483 Active Positive, 3297 recovered (including 25 cases recovered today), 130 deaths; Pulwama reported 4247 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today) with 261 active positive cases, 3912 recovered (including 38 cases recovered today), 74 deaths; Kulgam has 2340 positive cases (including 01 case reported today) with 83 Active Positive, 2214 recoveries (including 08 cases recovered today), 43 deaths; Shopian has 2101 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 108 Active Positive, 1961 recovered (including 07 cases recovered today), 32 deaths; Anantnag district has 3801 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today) with 382 Active Positive, 3349 recovered (including 03 cases recovered today), 70 deaths;  Budgam has 5437 positive cases (including 38 cases reported today) with 691 Active Positive and 4657 recovered (including 60 cases recovered today), 89 deaths; Kupwara has 3926 positive cases (including 21 cases reported today) with 621 Active Positive, 3235 recovered (including 23 cases recovered today), 70 deaths; Bandipora has 3696 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today) with 344 Active Positive, 3310 recovered (including 19 cases reported today), 42 deaths and  Ganderbal has 3168 positive cases (including 13 cases reported today) with 257 active positive cases, 2881 recoveries (including 33 cases recovered today) and 30 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 15381 positive cases (including 113 cases reported today) with 1343 active positive cases, 13813 recoveries (including 140 cases recovered today), 225 deaths; Rajouri has 2994 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 422 active positive cases, 2529 recovered (including 90 cases recovered today), 43 deaths; Ramban has 1453 positive cases (including 01 case reported today) with 96 active positive, 1346 recoveries (including 13 cases recovered today), 11 deaths; Kathua has 2273 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 115 Active positive, 2129 recovered (including 17 cases recovered today), 29 deaths; Udhampur has 2500 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 204 active positive cases, 2273 recovered (including 40 cases recovered today), 23 deaths; Samba has 1989 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 384 Active Positive, 1581 recoveries (including 54 cases recovered today), 24 deaths; Doda has 2388 positive cases (including 01 case reported today) with 509 active positive cases, 1839 recoveries (including 119 cases recovered today), 40 deaths; Poonch has 2017 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today) with 672 active positive, 1323 recoveries (including 32 cases reported today), 22 deaths; Reasi has 1134 positive cases with 180 active positive, 948 recoveries and 06 deaths while Kishtwar has 1520 positive cases with 148 active positive cases and 1361 recoveries  (including 30 cases reported today) and 11 deaths.
