Poonch: Security forces busted a militant hide-out and recovered arms and ammunition during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Surankote area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said Sunday.
“CASO was launched in Girjin area of Surankote over some specific inputs during which a hideout was busted and one AK rifle, bullets and a revolver have been recovered,” a police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
He said that Army and police teams launched the operation on Sunday morning which was going on when last reports poured in—(KNO)
