Srinagar: The grandmother of Mirwaiz Omar Farooq and wife of Late Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Shah passed away on Saturday after prolonged illness.
The deceased was the aunt and mother-in-law of Late Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq, mother of Moulvi Manzoor Ahmad, Moulvi Shafat Ahmad and grandmother of Mirwaiz Omar Farooq.
She was suffering from prolonged illness, family sources said.
In wake of Covid-19 pandemic and constant house detention of Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, family sources said no collective ceremonies will be held.
Nears and dears have been asked to maintain social distancing in wake of pandemic situation and pray for eternal peace to the deceased from their respective homes.
