Srinagar : A meet of Party functionaries of Block Amira Kadal was held here at Party headquarters, Nawa-e- Subha. The meet was presided over by Party’s Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani.

The meeting was attended by block Amira Kadal functionaries, YNC members, and women’s wing functionaries.

Speaking on the occasion Nair Aslam Wani appreciated the efforts of the workers for upholding the party flag in the most trying times. Extolling the workers and party’s block functionaries, he said, “It is elevating to see all of us again after more than a year. Fortunately our strong rooted party withstood all pressures and pulls as we have been drawing our sustenance from the people of J&K. Our vision for J&K has been inclusive.  I take this opportunity to express my earnest gratitude to all of you for standing besides the party in the most trying times. The need of the hour is to continue with our determination,” he said.

The participants on the occasion reiterated their support to the party president Dr. Farooq Abdullah in his endeavor to restore J&K’s exclusivity and prestige. The participants unanimously sought the release of all detainees who are still languishing in jails.

Among others Party’s Provincial president women’s wing Er. Sabiya Qadri, block president Rafiq Ilahi, and YNC district President Khalid Rathore were also present in the meeting.
