Covid-19: J&K reports 641 positive cases, 30079 recoveries, 14 deaths

Srinagar: The tally of Covid-19 infected people has reached 38864 in Jammu and Kashmir with 367 testing positive in Kashmir and 274 from Jammu division today. However, among the infected, 30079 have recovered so far.

Officials said that out of 38864 positive cases, 8053 are active positive, 30079 have recovered and 732 have died; 75 in Jammu division and 657 in Kashmir division and that out of 996481 test results available, 957617 samples have been tested as negative till September 02, 2020.

However, a local news agency, GNS, reported that with 14 more Covid-19 related deaths, the toll has reached 733 in J&K.

Meanwhile, officials said that Srinagar recorded 131 positive cases today; Baramulla,  22; Pulwama, 16 cases; Kulgam, 11; Shopian, 02; Anantnag, 30; Budgam, 56; Kupwara, 18; Bandipora, 27 and; Ganderbal, 54 cases.

Officials said that of the total 38864 positive cases in J&K 6668 have been reported as travelers while 32196 as others.
