Srinagar: The Government has classified all districts of Kashmir valley excluding Bandipora and Ramban district of Jammu division as red zones following the assessment of covid-19 situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

To classify red, orange and green zones in J&K, the Department of Disaster Management, Relief Rehabilitation and Reconstruction’s State Executive Committee took review of the novel coronavirus situation while taking into account trends in new cases particularly the recent spike in new cases in view of the continuous movement of people travelling to J&K and between provinces or districts with tremendous risk of further spread.
