Poonch: Authorities in Poonch district Thursday launched a rescue operation after two men were trapped in a river in the district.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Mudassir Hussain told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that two men got trapped in the middle of the river near Khanetar area of Poonch.
He said a rescue operation has been launched to rescue them.
He informed that teams of SDRF, Police, locals and civil administration officers reached the spot while efforts are being made to rescue the duo from the river—(KNO)
