Kupwara: A Border Security Force (BSF) man has allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his own service rifle in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources told GNS said that the trooper posted at Brinwari shot himself with his own service rifle and died on spot.
He identified the deceased as head constable of Kundan ram of 169bn he added.
A police officer told GNS said that it was not immediately known as to why the trooper took the extreme step. He said: “investigation is underway in this regard.”
