Ganderbal: An eight year old girl was crushed to death by a speedy truck in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday afternoon.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the girl identified as Adiya Bano daughter of Mohammad Anwar Paswal was critically injured after being hit by a speedy truck in Ganiwan area.

“She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment where doctors declared her dead on arrival,” he said.

The official said that police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case in this regard.
