Srinagar: Resident Doctors’ Association (RDA) Government Medical College Srinagar & Associated Hospitals has been reframed under the chair of Principal & Dean Government Medical College & Associated hospitals.

According to a statement, the association was refrained after adopting an alternate electoral process due to ongoing pandemic and taking confidence residents of all departments.

“The prime objective of the RDA is to safeguard the interests of residents and ensure quality patient care,” the statement reads.

As per the statement, Dr Aatif Hassan Sanaie (Medicine) is the President of RDA GMC & Associated Hospitals and Dr Zainub Nabi (Surgery) is Vice-President, Dr Umar Nabi (Medicine) Joint Secretary, Dr Sartaj Ahmad Bhat (Surgery) Finance Secretary, Secretary Dr Yousha Gillani (Anaesthesiology) Cultural/Aid/Sports, Dr Naseer Imtiyaz (Radio-Diagnosis) Academic Secretary, Dr Sajad Qadri (Medicine) and Dr Manpreet (Anesthesiology) Hostel Incharge, Dr Irtifa Kanth (Medicine) and Dr Anyess Khanday (Surgery) Spokespersons.
