Emphasizing the use of masks at all public places, the Advisor said that recent studies have shown that use of masks has been the most effective way to reduce person-to-person spread of coronavirus.

He said that it has been found that people showing laxity in taking preventive measures are falling prey to this pandemic. He appealed public to observe social distancing norms and cooperate with the government in checking the spread of coronavirus.

In his message to the public, the Advisor said that there is absolutely no scope for showing any sort of negligence and nobody should venture out without wearing a face mask.

He said that people showing disregard for these necessary measures would be penalized stringently. He earnestly requested people not to interact with those violating the advisories and educate each other about use of face masks and maintaining social distancing protocols.
