Dilbag Singh visits Budgam, Awantipora

Srinagar, JULY 14: Director General of Police J&K, Dilbag Singh, today visited Budgam and Awantipora districts to review the security, law & order and crime scenario of these districts, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

“DGP interacted with officers and jawans of the Police component Budgam and chaired jurisdictional officers meetings at Awantipora.  He also inaugurated monitoring cell at DPL Budgam,” the spokesman said.

“He was accompanied by the DIG SKR Atul Goel as IGP Kashmir and DIG CKR were busy at Bandipora regarding the visit of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, J&K,” the spokesman said.

“SSP Budgam, Amod Nagpure, and SSP Awantipora, Tahir Saleem Khan, briefed DGP about the measures being taken to further tighten the security arrangements in their respective districts,” the spokesman added.
