JAMMU, JUNE 20:  Jammu and Kashmir Government today designated two Secretaries as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government.

As per an order issued by the General Administration Department(GAD), Zubair Ahmad, KAS, Secretary Department of Culture, holding additional charge as Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department and  Reva Kumari, KAS, Secretary  to the Government, ARI and Trainings Department, have been designated as Commissioner Secretary to the Government with immediate effect, by order of the Lieutenant Governor.

Meanwhile, Government has accorded sanction to the promotion of In-charge Joint Directors Economics & Statistics (E&S) cadre of Finance Department, Girdhari Lal and Madan Lal as In-charge Directors, Economics & Statistics in their own pay and grade with immediate effect.

The government order issued in this regard reads that the arrangement is temporary in nature and shall not confer any preferential right or claim to the officers for their appointment to the post of Director (E&S).
