3 civilians injured in Pakistan shelling along LoC in Uri

Baramulla: Three civilians suffered injuries after a Pakistani artillery shell landed in Nambla A village near Pawoati in Hajipeer Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday, officials said.

The injured have been identified as Ahmad Sheikh, 60, Maqbool Mangriyal, 20 while as the identity of third person is yet to be ascertained. They were rushed to Sub-district hospital Uri for treatment.

Pakistani rangers violated ceasefire and targeted the forward post of Indian army along the line of control (LoC) in Hajipeer,  said officials.

SSP Baramulla Abdul Qayoom confirmed that two persons have suffered injuries in the ceasefire violation.
