SRINAGAR : Director Horticulture Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, today visited Soibugh area of district Budgam to take stock of various high density orchards established in the area.
He on the occasion gave strict instructions to Chief Horticulture officer Budgam and other field officers to provide true to type planting material to the farmers and also maintain a close liaison with the farming community in order to provide technical knowhow to them about orchard management and other benefits of developmental schemes.
Later on Director Horticulture visited Magam area of the district and inspected various high density as well as other orchards.
On spot instructions were given to the officers to provide every possible support and guidance to the orchardists for remedial measures to be adopted as per spray schedule while following the guidelines and SOP related to COVID-19.
The Director on the occasion was accompanied by Chief Horticulture officer, District Horticulture officer Budgam and other field officers of the Department.
