DC Budgam visits red zone, quarantine centers across Khansahab

BUDGAM: Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganai, today visited various quarantine centers established across Tehsil Khansahab, in order to take on spot review of facilities, availability of essential supplies at these centers.

The DM during the visit was accompanied by SDM Khansahab, Shabir Ahmad Khataria, BMO, DIO and other concerned officers.

DC also visited notified red zone areas of Kaitch Razgeer, Frastewar and Gurweeth Khurd where some Covid-19 positive cases have been reported.

Speaking on the occasion the DC said the visit was undertaken to ascertain about facilities and availability of essentials at all established quarantine centers besides ensuring that people residing in red zone areas shall not face any scarcity of any essential items.

He said as there are 8 positive cases in these three villages, the administration is pro actively geared up to tackle any impending urgency. During the visit he appreciated the role of health workers and other volunteers who are delivering their responsibilities with commitment.
