12 COVID-19 Patients recovered in Sopore, discharged from the Hospital

BARAMULLA: In a major breakthrough amid COVID-19 Scare, authorities in Sopore Baramulla have discharged 12 COVID-19 patients from Sub District Hospital Sopore after all of them have recovered from the disease.

The patients, among which 9 were from Sheeri,  2 from Tangmarg and 1 from Wagooba Sopore were treated at the hospital and were discharged after their tests were found negative for the virus repeatedly.

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo congratulated the recovered patients and urged upon them to remain in home quarantine for some time as a precautionary measure. He hailed the services of medical experts who worked tirelessly and the result is in front of us.

“This disease can be defeated if necessary measures and precautions are followed,” the DC added.

CMO Baramulla Dr Deeba ,BMO Sopore Dr Asif, BMO Baramulla Dr sheikh Farooq, medical officers among other functionaries were present on the occasion.
