KULGAM: District Magistrate Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today visited Manzgam Red Zone village.
The DM was accompanied by ADC, Shabir Hussain Bhat, Officer on Special Duty for COVID-19 Parvaiz Ahmad Raina, SDM Noorabad, ACR, BMO, and other officers.
On the occasion the concerned officials informed the DM that all entry and exit points in Red Zone area have been sealed and aggressive contact tracing is being done to thwart any contingency.
The DM directed them to ensure complete lockdown in the area and allow no inward and outward movement.
He also visited administrative quarantine centre at ITI K B Pora and took stock of arrangements where hundreds of laborers and outside returnees are under quarantine.
The District Magistrate also urged the people to reveal their travel and contact history which is vital to break the chain of Corona virus infection and added that action under law will be initiated against those who have concealed their travel history.
