Suspected militants lobbed a grenade at the security forces near the shrine of Hazrat Habibullah Nowsherhri (RA) at Nowshehra area of Srinagar. The grenade, hit the road and didn’t explode.

A police official said that a grenade was hurled at the joint party of police and paramilitary CRPF, deployed to enforce lockdown. “The grenade fell on road and didn’t explode,” he said.
