Srinagar: With 33 new COVID-19 positive reported today, the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir has risen to 614.

All the 33 positive cases were reported from Kashmir Division, officials said.

They said that out of 614 positive cases, 390 are Active Positive, 216 have recovered and 08 have died.

“Moreover, 24 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 04 recovered from Jammu Division & 20 recovered from Kashmir Division,” said the officials.

The officials further said that out of 19746 test results available, 19132 samples have tested as negative till April 30, 2020.

“Till date 70408 travellers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for surveillance which include 7335 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 193 in Hospital Quarantine, 390 in hospital isolation and 8398 under home surveillance. Besides, 54084 persons have completed their surveillance period,” added the officials.

Providing district-wise breakup, the officials said that Bandipora has 127 positive cases wherein 102 are Active Positive, 24 recovered, 01 died; Srinagar has reported 02 fresh cases today taking positive cases to 89 with 19 Active Positive, 68 recovered (including 17 recovery today),  02 died; Baramulla reported  11 new cases today taking total number of positive cases to 84 with 60 Active Positive, 21 recovered, 03 died; Anantnag district reported 12 new cases which led to 83 positive cases with 82 Active Positive, 01 died; with 01 new case today, Shopian has 72 positive cases with 59 Active Positive, 13 recovered; Kupwara has 49 positive cases with 30 Active Positive, 19 recovered ; Budgam reported 01 new positive cases taking its total to 20 of which 10 are Active Positive with 10 recovered cases (including 01 recovery today); Ganderbal has 14 positive cases with 09 Active positive and 05 recovered; Kulgam reported 04 new cases today making total positive cases to 11 with 09 Active Positive and  02 recoveries today ; Pulwama also reported 02 fresh cases taking total number of  positive to 07 with 04 active positive, 03 recovered.

Similarly, Jammu has 26 positive cases with 26 recoveries (03 recoveries today); Udhampur 20 positive cases of which 02 are Active Positive, 17 recovered (including 01 today) and 01 died, while as Samba district has 04 positive cases and all the cases have recovered; Rajouri has 04 positive cases, 01 active positive and 03 have recovered;  Kathua has 01 positive case who is active positive; Kishtwar had only 01 positive case who has recovered; Ramban has 01 positive case who is Active Positive; Meanwhile, Reasi has 01 positive case who is Active Positive.
