Baramulla: A woman tested positive for Coronavirus in Baramulla on Wednesday.
According to officials, she is the mother of electrician and security guard from Kanlibagh Baramulla Baramulla, who tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.
The duo is suspected contacts of the doctor who tested positive at GMC.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday late evening ambulance sirens created panic in Mir Shab Mohalla after a health team visited the family of sister of the elderly man who died due to heart attack at GMC as she had also visited the family at Kakarhamam for condolence.
“We took the 10 family members for quarantine after GMC informed us about the woman. However, the family was taken for administrative quarantine but later it proved to be a miscommunication and wrong information about the woman testing positive. We were called again by GMC authorities to take the family back as it was wrong information,” an official privy to the development said.
