Budgam: Two sisters died in flash floods in Nalla Rangwadi at Kutbal area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
Reports said that two sisters namely Rumaisa (14) and Rukhsana (6), daughters of Ghulam Rasool Hajam of Kutbal Chadoora died after they drowned in flash floods due to cloud burst in forests of Kutbal Chadoora area.
Soon after the incident, a massive rescue operation was launched out during which both bodies were retrieved from flood waters.
Bodies were handed over to their family members after completion of legal formalities.
