Srinagar: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Thursday started online masterclasses on Media Marketing for students of Kashmir.
According to a statement, Ashwani Bakshi, a business leader and Media Marketing Expert, was the Guest speaker. “Bakshi focused on the challenges and opportunities in the field of media and advertising, and in building brand value of the businesses. The session was followed by question and answer session with the academics and the students,” reads the statement.
“Dr Parvez Mir, Head Entrepreneurship Development cell, Islamic University of Science and Technology, felicitated the session along with Dr M A Parry from Business School. Students at the end of the session wished for further such sessions with the business leaders and Dr Parvez invited. Bakshi to the University for a Seminar Post Pandemic, to which Bakshi responded positively,” it said.
Parvez while applauding CII’s efforts said, we feel it is very important to strengthen the gap between academia and corporate, by enhancing the frequency of such sessions at regular intervals,” it added.
