April 21: Acting tough against the violators of Government prohibitory orders, Awantipora Police have seized 36 vehicles for defying the restriction orders, a police spokesman said.
“In the jurisdiction of PS Awantipora, Police have seized 12 vehicles for violating the Govt prohibitory orders issued by the District Magistrate u/s 144 CrPC while as in the jurisdiction of PS Pampore, 04 vehicles have been seized,” said the spokesman.
He said that in the jurisdictions of PS Tral and PS Khrew, Police have seized 06 vehicles and 14 vehicles respectively for violating the Govt prohibitory orders.
