JK Resident Commission Establishes 24×7 Helpline for stranded residents

NEW DELHI: To address issues faced by stranded residents from Jammu and Kashmir during lockdown period in New Delhi and other parts of country, a dedicated Helpline Centre operational 24×7 has been established in the Jammu and Kashmir Resident Commission, here.

Additional Secretary, Rimpy Ohri is supervising the overall functioning of the Centre. Five helpline numbers have been dedicated for the purpose.

An official spokesperson told that JK residents facing any issue due to lockdown may contact following helpline numbers functional 24×7:- +91 97173 55186 (M), +91 98103 14773 (M), 24611210, 24611108, 24615475 or mail at jkhsdelhi@gmail.com.

Hundreds of students from across the country have already been facilitied by the Commission to return to their home districts while several others have been facilitated to stay at various dedicated Hotels in New Delhi, informed the official spokesperson.
