SHOPIAN, MARCH 25: The District Development Commissioner Shopian Choudhary Mohammad Yasin today convened a meeting of officers to review the preparedness in the wake of COVID-19 in the district and to review facilities being provided at Quarantine Centers established in the district.
The meeting was attended by SSP Shopian, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Chief Medical Officer, besides other concerned officers and officials.
During the meeting, the DDC sought feedback from the designated Officers and discussed issues being faced by the officials while performing their duties.
The meeting also discussed threadbare various aspects regarding the prevention from deadly pandemic Covid-19.
While reviewing the status of quarantining the people who have arrived from abroad, the DDC directed the surveillance teams to quarantine every one returning from foreign countries as a precautionary measure.
The surveillance teams were also directed to remain available in their respective areas to monitor the situation at District, Block and Zonal levels to combat COVID-19.
