Baramulla:  A woman died in a scuffle with in-laws at Yarbugh village of Dangiwacha Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and police have registered a murder case.

Witnesses said that 55 year old Aisha Begum wife of Ghulam Hasan Beigh died in a scuffle with her brother-in-law Abdul Rashid Beigh and four others at Yarbugh village of Dangiwacha Rafiabad Baramulla.

“There was some family dispute that triggered a scuffle leaving her unconscious. She was shifted to hospital where she died,” they added.

Police have registered a murder case against accused in-laws.

While confirming the incident, a police official said that police station Dangiwacha has registered a murder case and arrested five family members including the brother-in-law of the victim.

“A case vide FIR number 26/2020 under section 147, 302 has been registered and investigation set into motion,” he said adding that the woman entered into the scuffle over some family matter.
