Baramulla: A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at home in Zehanpora Boniyar in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Witness said that Shabir Khan son of Mohmmad Yousuf Khan of Zehanpora was found dead at his residential houses and his cause of death is due to consumption of some pisionous substance.
They added that it was not clear whether he has himself consumed the poisonous substance or he was administered the poison by someone.
Police has started investigation and body of the deceased has been shifted to hospital for autopsy.
SHO Boniyar said that police has lodged an FIR under 174 IPC for mysterious death.
