Gulmarg: Winter Games Association, J&K, the main unofficial stake holder in Khelo India event at Gulmarg, has asked the government to cancel the event.
The reasons cited by WGAJK are unfriendly weather conditions, poor visibility and apprehensions of lightening on upper reaches of Gulmarg.
However, sources said that the basic reason is that of Coronavirus threat as so many people within Jammu and Kashmir and outside had expressed apprehensions regarding assemblage of players at Gulmarg.
Sources said that the event may likely be cancelled.
