Director JKEDI interacts with aspiring Entrepreneurs

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 18: Director, Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), G M Dar interacted with aspiring entrepreneurs undergoing the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) at the Pampore campus of the Institute and Centre for Women Entrepreneurship (CWE) Srinagar, here today.

As many as 137 candidates from Srinagar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Budgam, Kupwara, Bandipora and Kulgam districts are undergoing the Entrepreneurship Development Program at Pampore campus of the Institute in the manufacturing, services, agro-allied and trading sectors.

The Director said that there are various high potential activities like agriculture, horticulture, food processing and IT-enabled services which the candidates need to tap. He assured the them that the Institute will handhold every candidate and will ensure smooth processing of the projects chosen.

The candidates also shared their experience regarding ongoing EDP.

The Director also interacted with the aspiring women entrepreneurs’ currently undergoing training at the Centre for Women Entrepreneurship, Srinagar where 21day programme will provide lessons on skill development, and sector specific performance improvement training
