PULWAMA, FEBRUARY 14: District Panchayat Election Office (DPEO), Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today organized a training program for Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant returning officers (AROs) at DC office Complex Pulwama.
On the occasion, RO’s and AERO’s were imparted training about their role and responsibilities, nomination process, scrutiny of nomination papers,withdrawal of candidature,allotment of symbols and provisions of the model code of conduct.
DPEO urged the officers to perform their duties with dedication and strictly adhere to the guidelines of ECI for the smooth conduct of Panchayat polls .He called upon the concerned officers to work in tandem for successful conduct of the Panchayat By-Elections. He enjoined upon the officers to abide by the MCC guidelines.
Among others Additional Deputy Commissioners Pulwama ,Tral ,Awantipora ,Assistant Commissioner Revenue ,Assistant Commissioner Development, ROs and AROs and other concerned were present.
