JAMMU, FEBRUARY 05: Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma today visited prestigious Ropeway Project at Bahu Fort asked the Chief Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Department Jammu to conduct technical inspection of Jammu Ropeway Project and submit the comprehensive report at the earliest.
Managing Director J&K Cable Car Corporation, Shameem Ahmed Wani, Chief Engineer MED Jammu, Gagan Jyoti, Chief Engineer PWD, Des Raj and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
The Div Com asked the concerned authorities to conduct technical inspections of both the phases of ropeway project and submit comprehensive report so that the project could be open for general public.
Div Com also discussed on reports already submitted by technical experts after observation. It was informed that after observations of corrections suggested by experts were executed.
It is pertinent to mention that government has constituted a committee of senior engineers to act as technical inspectors for inspection of Jammu Ropeway Project.
