‘3 Kanal land retrieved in Srinagar’

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 03: Three kanals prime Land was retrieved at Umerabad Peerbagh today in Chanpora Tehsil of Srinagar.

The prime land was encroached by way of walling and construction of tin sheds, which was demolished by a team lead by Tehsildar Chhanpora, Mubashir Amin along with field revenue officers.

The land worth crores was attempted to be grabbed by some locals who shall be proceeded against as per law.

Public has been advised to safeguard common lands and report cases of such encroachments to concerned Tehsildars or Municipal Officers.

Similar exercises are also being conducted in other Tehsils of Srinagar.

Meanwhile, retrieved land at Eidgah Tehsil was today handed over to Srinagar Smart City Ltd for development of green spaces.
