WPL: Star Cricket Club Humhama thrash Bijbehara by 9 wickets

Sopore, July 31: In the ongoing Wular Premier League, second quarter final of the day was played between Dawood Sports Bijbehara and Star Cricket Club Humhama in which Humhama Cricket club defeated Dawood Sports Bijbehara by 9 wickets.

With this win, Star Cricket Club Humhama secured its berth in semi final.

Bating first, Dawood Sports Bijbehara were bundled out on 96 runs. Zaman Qayoom was the top scorer with 25 runs.

For Star Cricket Club Humhama, Sameer Nadeem and Aaqib took 2 wickets each.

In reply, Star Cricket Club Humhama achieved the target in 10th over losing only one wicket. Aadil Ahmad scored unbeaten 47 runs and Suhail Paul made 27 runs.

For Dawood Sports, Touqeer took 1 wicket.

Aadil was declared man of the match for his knock of 47 runs.

This tournament is being organised by Sports Association Tarzoo.
