DLSA Shopian conducts awareness programmes

SHOPAIN, JULY 29: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian and Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Shopian in collaboration with Horticulture Department of Shopian conducted an awareness programme on topics “Cultivation of Fruit Seeds, Awareness Programme for Mentally ill and Disabled persons and Legal Services to Victims of acid attacks and Awareness for various social security schemes” at Government High School, Chotipora, Shopian.

The programme was presided over by Secretary DLSA Shopian  Lubna Sultan. While addressing the gathering of students, the Secretary DLSA Shopian urged the participants to come forward to get benefit from such awareness programmes. She informed the participants how to apply for legal help and under what conditions legal services will be free and affordable.
