NSS Units of GDC Sopore conduct plastic waste collection drive in Wullar Lake

SOPORE, JULY 22: NSS units of Government Degree College (Women) Sopore organised one day awareness and plastic waste collection drive in Wullar Lake and around the Wullar lake at Watlab Sopore under Swachh Bharat Summer Internship 2019.

50 NSS Volunteers along with staff members and local residents of the area participated in the drive. Door to Door awareness campaign about proper disposal of plastic and to orient the residents to promote 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) was also conducted.
