Bijbehara, July 23: A male body was on Tuesday recovered from Wopzan orchards in Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Reports said, the deceased has been identified as Nazir Ahmad Bhat, son of Late Gh Qadir Bhat of Wopzan Herpora. Official sources told a local news agency that Bhat was a farmer by profession.

There are reports that the body of the deceased bears marks similar to bullet injuries, they said, adding that few gunshots were heard on late Monday evening in the area.
