Sopore, July 20: An official of Fire Service Department alleged that he was assaulted by some unknown persons on Saturday morning in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
The official, Mushtaq Ahmed Gadoo a resident of Chankhan Sopore, alleged that he was ruthlessly beaten by some unknown persons.
According to the locals, soon after being attacked, he was rushed to sub-district hospital Sopore for treatment.
Meanwhile, a police officer confirmed the incident and said that one among the three assailants’ has been arrested, while manhunt has been launched to trace the other two.
