Shaheen Sports Chanderhama beat Rising Star Buchpora in a last over thriller

Pattan, July 18: In the ongoing 16th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy-2019, Shaheen Sports Chanderhama beat Rising Star Buchpora in a last over thriller with Aijaz playing a brilliant knock of 87 runs for the former.

Batting first, Shaheen Sports Chanderhama posted a descent total of 165 runs on the board for the loss of 7 wickets. Skipper Aijaz played a scintillating knock of 87 runs as he hit 9 fours and 4 sixes, while as Mehraj contributed 26 runs.

For Rising Star Buchpora, Irfan Nabi clinched 3 wickets and Burhan took 2 wickets.

In reply, Rising Star Buchpora took the match to the last over but fell short of 7 runs.

For Rising Star Buchpora, Iqbal Akbar remained the top scorer with 44 runs, while as Burhan and Muthar Ali contributed 29 and 26 runs respectively.

For Shaheens,  Rakeeband Mehraj shared 2 wickets each.

Aijaz Ahmad was declared as Man of the match for his brilliant knock of 87 runs.

The tournament is organised annually by Shaheen Sports Association Chanderhama Pattan. 64 teams are participating in the tournament.
