Pattan, July 15: In the ongoing SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy-2019, Sofi Brothers Srinagar defeated Fashion Mart CC Safapora by 7 wickets on Monday.
Batting first, Safapora couldn’t start well and lost their top order batsman very early. Later, it was Feroz, Ishfaq and shoiab who contributed 25, 21 and 17 runs respectively and set the target of 116 runs for the Fashion Mart CC.
Majid Dar and Nazir Ahmad took 2 wickets each for Sofi Brothers.
In reply, with the help of unbeaten 41 runs of Waseem, Sofi Brothers chased the target with ease. Majid Dar also added 23 valuable runs and he was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance in which he took 2 wickets and scored 23 Runs.
The tournament is being organised annually by Shaheen Sports Association Chanderhama Pattan.
