Nazir’s 6-fer help City Hunks to Thrash YCC Yadipora

Sopore, July 12: In the ongoing Wular Premier League (WPL), today’s first match was played between City Hunks and YCC Yadipora.

Bating first, City Hunks managed to score 159 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Nisar and Aamir Aziz contributed with 45 runs each.

For YCC Yadipora, Aamir took 4-fer.

In reply, YCC Yadipora started well in the first ten overs after that Reyaz Ahmad created havoc with his splendid bowling spell and took 6 wickets and conceded only 2 runs.

Youns was the highest scorer for them with 32 runs and they were dismissed on 78 runs and City Hunks won this match by a huge margin of 80 run. Later Riyaz Ahmad was declared man of the match.

Second match of the day was played between Shape up Fitness and RCC Vadi Kashmir in which Shape up fitness beat RCC in a nail biting contest.

Chasing a target of 162 runs, Vadi Kashmir fell short of 5 run. Earlier, Shape up Fitness scored 161/7 in the allotted 20 overs. Zufiyan made 43 runs and Zahoor scored 30 runs. Hashim also played a quick fire 39 runs.

For Vadi Kmr, Asrar took 4 wickets.

In reply, Vadi Kashmir were restricted on 156 runs. Suhail made 52 runs.

For Shapeup, Mohrram took 5-fer and helped his team to cross the line. He was also declared man of the match.

This tournament is organised by Sports Association Tarzoo.
