Adabi Sangat Kashmir convenes meeting, constitutes management committee

Srinagar, July 12: The much-awaited meeting of Adabi Sangat Kashmir was convened on Friday under the Chairmanship of G.D Tahir, Interim President of Sangat, at Rajbagh Srinagar.

The members who attended the meeting included Gh Haider Adil, Abdul Gani Arif, Ab Hameed Kasana, Gh Rasool Azad, Mohammad Mansha Khaki, Ab Slam Kousary, Mohammad Sharief Qammer, Taj- Din Taj.

On the occasion, several issues of the Sangat including amendment in the constitution, inclusion/ cancellation of membership of members and the term of management committee were discussed thread bare.

The members decided to dissolve the previous management committee and constituted a new one for the term of three years.

The following management committee was constituted on the occasion: Gh Rasool Azad (President), G. D Tahir (vice- president I), Mohammad Mansha Khaki (vice president II), Ab. Slam Kousary( General Secretary ), Mohammad Sharief Qammer( publicity Secretary), Taj-Din Taj (Treasure).

The meeting ended with vote of thanks and meanwhile, the date and venue of next meeting of the Sangat was also fixed.
