Srinagar, Jul 10: One person died and several others were injured after a passenger bus met with an accident in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
Reports said a minibus (JK03-5707) met with an accident and turned turtle at Shoul area of Batengoo when it was on the way from Anantnag to Shamsipora village.
An official said that one passenger died on the spot while many others suffered injuries.
Soon after the accident, police and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured passengers to a nearby hospital for the treatment.
