Karnah Jul 10: Three persons died while two others sustained injuries after an electric High Tension Line fell on Low Tension line in Tanghdar Nar village of Karnah Tehsil in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

According to reports, the HT line fell on LT line in the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday in Tanghdar Nar, causing shortcircuit in the village.

Three persons were also electrocuted to death while two others sustained injuries.

The person who died in the incident were identified as Abdul Qadeer Khan, son of Yaqoob Khan, Tabeer Khan, son of Abdul Qadeer Khan, Naeaz Khan, son of Ali Ashghar Khan while two injured were identified as Sakeena Begum, wife of Abdul Hameed and Irshad Ahmad, son of Ali Asghar. (KNS)
