SRINAGAR, JULY 09: The Department of Health and Medical Education today informed that Government B.Sc. Nursing College in the Jammu region at Gangyal shall be operationalised soon and building of the college is expected to be completed by October 2019 at a cost of Rs.8 crore.

“Till the building is completed the classes will begin in the GMC Jammu by way of internal adjustment of staff,” a statement of the Department said.

The newly constructed B.Sc. Nursing College has been established under Prime Minister Development Package and shall start working under the Administrative Control of Government Medical College, Jammu.

The University of Jammu has granted permission to start B.Sc. Nursing Courses in Gangyal for the Session 2019-20. The admission notice to this effect has been already issued by the University of Jammu, the statement added.
