Pattan : A 3-year-old girl drowned in a stream in Hurhundpora Pattan in Baramulla district on Tuesday.
Witnesses said that the 3-year-old minor identified as Aaliya daughter of Nazir Ahmad Parray slipped into the Gundari nallah running adjacent to her home at Hurhundpora.
Soon after the tragic incident, the locals rushed to the spot and retrieved the body of minor from the nallah and shifted her to a Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
A police officer also confirmed the death of the minor due to drowning.
