DLTF approves 97 entrepreneurship projects at Reasi

REASI, JULY 03: District Level Task Force Committee headed by Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Chander today approved 97 entrepreneurship projects under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme sponsored by District Industries Centre and Khadi Village Industries Board, Reasi.

The sanctioned projects included Xerox centre, shuttering, Vaishno dhaba, wooden furniture, services station, tailoring and preparation of readymade garment, welding units, sweet shops etc.

The committee screened and scrutinized 122 cases, of which, 97 projects were selected for credit linkage through financial institutions after thorough analysis of viability of proposed projects and the entrepreneurial skills of the applicants.

Giving details, ADDC informed that cases from rural areas with project cost upto Rs. 10 lakh under service sector and Rs. 25 lakh under manufacturing sector have been recommended in the DLTFC. “These cases will be processed in a time bound manner for sanctioning of loan and each entrepreneur will be facilitated and guided in setting up of unit”, he said.

All the beneficiaries have been directed to undergo EDP training at SBIRSETI Reasi.

Director RSETI was asked to organize short term EDP Training programme for these upcoming entrepreneurs.
