SRINAGAR, JULY 02: Mission Director Jammu Kashmir State Rural Livelihood Mission, Abdul Rashid War Tuesday visited Block Singhpora and interacted with the members of Self Help Group (SHGs).
On the occasion, Additional Mission Director Kashmir, Rifat Aftab, Block program Manager Singhpora Mushtaq Bulaqi and other officials of Umeed were also present.
Addressing the SHG member, the Director stressed upon the SHG members to avail the benefits envisaged under the Mission and strive for economic upliftment.
He further stressed upon the need for self-reliance through building community-based institutions at SHG and CLF level.
MD JKSRLM was apprised that Singhpora is one of the blocks of Kashmir Division where Umeed is being implemented since March 2014.
